Sweet Tea Time
Mauritius, with its rich colonial history, was introduced to the tea plant by the French in 1760. However, it remained only a museum plant until the arrival of the British on the island in the 19th century, where commercial tea cultivation was encouraged.
Afternoon Tea at Café Bel-Air is a unique and affordable experience. Our all-vegetarian menu landed us one of the best three Afternoon Tea in Edmonton in 2023.

We are overwhelmingly thankful to Ms. Hangry Foodie, a local food blogger who came for afternoon tea on April 16, 2022 and for her subsequent honest review. We had no idea who she was. Thanks to Ms. Hangry Foodie, our small business has been catapulted onto the Edmonton food scene with over 150 reservation requests. She again visited us in October 2023, and this time she brought 3 of her friends who are equally notable influencers.

Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week.
Reservation and payment is made online only.
Cancellation Policy: The deposit is a Non-Refundable Initial Payment.
If something does crop up, most of our patrons opt to reschedule their reservation. Alternatively we can also provide full refund with one day notice.
The menu is set and unfortunately we cannot accommodate individual dietary restrictions.
Our establishment processes gluten, nuts, eggs, dairy, and other allergens.
Each person must have a seat booked regardless of age. We do not have a kid's menu.
For large group reservation, we only process one payment made online.
Unfortunately, we cannot split payment.
For a party of more than 7 people, please contact us for booking. We can host tea parties up to 25 people at a time. We never charge for venue rental for private events!
